Tips for accessing the ebook collections
Hints on navigating ebooks
Recommended methods ( particularly for Myilibrary):
- use the table of contents to select the relevant chapter
- click the expandable tree
- use keyword search box to look for text
- select page number if known
- using the arrow at foot of page to go through pages quickly can jam the book and may give a temporarily locked message
- access may also be limited by number of concurrent users depending which ebook aggregator provides the book
- CUP and Ovid ebooks allow unlimited concurrent use
- MyiLibrary allows 3 concurrent users
- NetLibrary only allows 2 concurrent users (however option to be emailed when access becomes available)
