Chemistry Data Champions

Data Champions are local experts on research data management and sharing who can provide advice and training within their departments. The Champions can answer discipline-specific questions and are happy to speak at local meetings/deliver training/provide information about research data.

There are currently four people from the Department of Chemistry who have volunteered to be Data Champions:

Clair Castle (expertise in data management plans, RDM training, open research, file sharing, repositories)

Paul Griffiths (expertise in open science, climate big data, GitHub, scientific computing)

Ennio Lavagnini (expertise in data analysis, FAIR data, GitHub, open access)

Sergio Martínez-Cuesta (expertise in bioinformatics, computational biology/chemistry, data analysis, management and visualisation, version control, Python and R, machine learning, bespoke computational training, data consultancy)
